FUN FRIDAY: Childhood

Mr. Dress UP.
Took a tour of the CBC building and thought it'd be nice break from daily routine to kick it into high gear, and went down memory lane with a look at my childhood.

HA, not really coffee related, but it's going on the same topic of yesterday, with the STOVE TOP!

I hope it starts to Snow soon - but of course I'm hoping for just below zero (ideal is -2). I'll take snow anyday over rain. Going on a weekend warrior trip - a la childhood "get in the car an go" - kind of ordeal. Where will the road take us... or I mean gas prices.

Fun Friday: Reusable Jars

As most of the Loyal readers know, I'm a huge fan of Te Aro Roasted.
Love that they re-purposed jars with handles to hold their cold drinks.
Re-purpose Coffee Sacks for donations to the local school (Morse Street P.S)
Re-Purpose old wood to serve as their high top table.
Re-purpose the old garage into Te Aro....

You get the picture...
So my fun friday/weekend project will be to take photos of items that were re-purposed, recycled, and throwing it back into our ecosystem and not for waste.

When I think of the upcoming Civic Holiday/Simcoe Day - it means 3 day weekend.
Middle of the summer, and almost an end to amazing weather. Le Sigh.

Fun Friday: Weekend getaways

Northeastern coast is experiencing some melting temperatures as of lately.
Highs of 38C/100F, but with Humidex we're reaching 48C+, 118F+. INSANELY HOT HOT HOT!
This is what it must feel like in the deserts, or India/Africa.

Here's a nice way to say: Enjoy your weekend.
I'll be parked near a pool or lake (haven't decided), and drinking some Iced Americano/ Cold Brews.
Cranking up the Air Con Unit and being a hermit during peak sun times.
